Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our classes

Do I need to be flexible to start yoga?

Not at all! Flexibility is a result of yoga practice, not a requirement. Our instructors will guide you through modifications suitable for your current level. Everyone starts somewhere, and we welcome all body types and abilities.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Avoid overly loose clothing that might get in the way. Yoga is practiced barefoot, so no special footwear is needed.

How often should I practice yoga?

For beginners, 2-3 times per week is ideal to build strength and flexibility while allowing recovery time. As you progress, you can practice more frequently. Consistency is more important than intensity.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

No! We provide clean, high-quality yoga mats and all necessary props (blocks, straps, blankets). However, you're welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

What if I have an injury or health condition?

Please inform your instructor before class about any injuries, health conditions, or concerns. They can provide modifications and alternatives to ensure your practice is safe and beneficial.

Can I eat before class?

We recommend eating a light snack 1-2 hours before class or a full meal 3-4 hours before. Practicing on a completely full stomach can be uncomfortable during certain poses.

What's the difference between class styles?

Each style offers different benefits: Beginner Yoga builds foundations, Vinyasa is dynamic and flowing, Yin is slow and meditative, Hatha is traditional and balanced. Try different styles to find what resonates with you!

How do I book a class?

You can book through our contact form, call us, or simply show up 15 minutes before class (space permitting). We recommend booking in advance for popular time slots.
